Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Adds New Multiplayer Playlist

Players of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will have a brand-new multiplayer playlist to enjoy ahead of the much-anticipated launch of Warzone and Black Ops 6 Season 3. The Call of Duty franchise has long been a leader in the first-person shooter genre, consistently topping sales charts, maintaining a massive player base, and earning countless awards. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, which debuted last year, was a massive financial success and is considered by many fans to be one of the best entries in recent years.

While the third season for both Black Ops 6 and Warzone was originally set to release on March 20, its publisher, Activision, recently announced a delay that pushed the CoD Season 3 launch back until April 3. In the lead-up to the new season, exciting details have already started to emerge, including the return of Warzone’s original map, Verdansk, and the reintroduction of iconic weapons like the HDR and Grau 5.6. For many fans, the delay was a disappointing turn of events, but with the arrival of a fresh multiplayer playlist, some of that frustration may be eased.

  • End Date: April 3

Scoring a nuke strike in Black Ops 6 is no easy task, requiring players to achieve 30 consecutive kills without dying to unlock the powerful nuke Killstreak, which wipes out the opposing team. However, with the extended time and score limits in the latest multiplayer playlist, earning a nuke strike will be more achievable, giving players more room for error. This change also makes it possible to rack up significantly higher kill counts than what’s typically seen in regular matches.

Season 2 Reloaded for Black Ops 6 and Warzone launched on February 20, and the Clover Craze event teased in the post will run through the end of the season. The St. Patrick’s Day-themed event allows players to collect various types of clovers across all game modes, earning a range of rewards, including a Wildcard and Battle Pass Tokens.

While the delay to Season 3 was disappointing for CoD enthusiasts, Activision has explained that the delay was necessary to ensure a successful launch for both Call of Duty: Warzone and Black Ops 6, as it’s a big moment for the games, and it wants the season to meet expectations. In the meantime, fans of the record-breaking Call of Duty franchise can enjoy higher kill counts and more nuke strikes in the latest playlist.
