The Warzone Season 5 update introduced a brand-new Muzzle attachment that has taken over the meta, even outshining the pre-nerf JAK BFB with its ridiculous buffs.
Each major patch comes with a selection of new attachments, but very few have the impact that the Quartermaster Suppressor has had. Ever since it was introduced in Season 5, it has become the go-to for virtually every meta build in the game.
This is due to the incredible accuracy buffs it offers, as it comes with a 10%, 23%, and 10% improvement to gun kick, horizontal, and vertical recoil control respectively. This comes at the cost of some ADS and sprint-to-fire speed, but these drawbacks are nowhere near as big as other Muzzles.
Not only does it bring major recoil benefits, but it can also be applied to every meta weapon category except Shotguns and Pistols. This means it can be used with top-tier Assault Rifles, SMGs, LMGs, and Battle Rifles.
Warzone expert JGOD also highlighted the Quartermaster Suppressor in his July 29 video breaking down the best close-range guns in Season 5. He mentioned everything from the MCW and BP50 ARs to the new Static-HV, but the common thread in each build was the Muzzle.
“This new suppressor kind of makes things a little bit crazier on almost everything,” said the YouTuber, before he compared it to the launch JAK BFB: “The JAK BFB was pretty close [but] I think there were way more downsides.”
In the past, the Muzzle slot has been dominated by the VT-7 Spiritfire Suppressor, as it buffed the range and bullet velocity of a gun to help it compete at longer distances. However, it has been completely replaced since the update.
So, if you’re looking to upgrade to your builds in Season 5, whether you’re running the Kar98k, STG44, or even the TAQ Eradicator, switch to the Quartermaster Suppressor to make them a breeze to use.
