Shotguns aren’t the most popular weapon category in Call of Duty, but Black Ops 6‘s Marine SP can be a beast if you equip it with the best attachments.
Although it’s only the beta, there are quite a few options to choose from. Many have been settling for the meta SMGs and ARs, while others have been experimenting with all the classes. The Marine SP Shotgun is a perfect choice for Strike maps like Pit, so here’s our best loadout for it.
Best Black Ops 6 Marine SP loadout attachments
- Muzzle: Full Choke
- Barrel: Long Barrel
- Underbarrel: Ranger Foregrip
- Stock: Combat Stock
- Fire Mods: Rapid Fire
This best Black Ops 6 Marine SP loadout is all about improving mobility, damage range, and hipfire accuracy. The Full Choke does the latter, making the Shotgun more effective while shooting from the hip.
The Long Barrel kills two birds with one stone, increasing the magazine ammo capacity and extending the damage range for when you need the Shotgun to perform outside of close quarters.
Next up, I’ve chosen the Ranger Foregrip to improve sprinting and movement speed, while also reducing horizontal recoil when you need to get two quick shots off. The Combat Stock further improves mobility, allowing you to shoot faster out of sprint, slide, and dive animations.
Lastly, the Rapid Fire Fire Mode improves rechambering speed, allowing you to get shots off a lot faster.

- Perk 1: Assassin

Shotguns require you to be within range to get the most out of them, so we’ve chosen Perks that will improve your mobility so that you can close the distance to your enemy with ease.
Assassin lets you see enemies who are on a killstreak on the minimap so that you can plan your next move to take them out.
Gung-Ho reduces movement penalties so that you can reload and use Equipment on the go, while Double Time greatly increases the duration of Tactical Sprint so you can get into close range nice and fast.
Then, we’ve gone with the Overkill Wildcard so that you can support the Shotgun with a more long-range option such as the XM4 or even the LR 7.62 Sniper.
As for Equipment, you can’t go wrong with a classic Frag, while the Stim Shot replenishes Tac Sprint also also initiates health regen so you can get in and out of situations smoothly. Lastly, the Assault Pack allows you to restock ammo and Equipment, which is great for when you’re on a killstreak and you’ve run out of stims.
How to unlock Marine SP in Black Ops 6 beta
The Marine SP Shotgun is an immediate unlock in the Black Ops 6 beta, so all you need to do is hit Level 4 to unlock Custom Loadouts and you’ll be able to equip the weapon.
Then, it’s just a case of playing as much as you can to level up the gun and get all the best attachments.
Best Marine SP alternatives
The Marine SP is the only Shotgun in the beta, so while there’s no true alternative, the Jackal PDW and C9 are standout options as they’re both great SMGs that can dominate CQB.
