MW3 Ranked Play offers players a chance to play Call of Duty like the pros, but that means respecting certain loadout limitations. Here’s a list of all the restricted weapons and banned attachments, Perks, Equipment, and Killstreaks in MW3 Ranked Play.

Modern Warfare 3 Season 2 Reloaded brought new restrictions to the Ranked Play mode. The competitive mode allows fans of Call of Duty to play like the pros, but that also means following the CDL ruleset.

As well as a change to maps and modes, you’ll also need to be aware of any restricted and banned weapons. This will get you ready to climb the MW3 Ranked Play Skill Divisions and earn rewards.

Here’s a full list of all of the banned weapons, attachments, Perks, Equipment, and Killstreaks that you won’t have access to when building your loadout in MW3 Season 2 Reloaded’s Ranked Play mode.

MW3 Ranked Play arrived in Season 1 Reloaded.

While the Gutter Knife and Karambit have not been restricted despite being GA’d by pro players, the devs implemented a nerf to Melee weapons as a response to player complaints. Melee weapons in Ranked Play require two hits to kill an enemy.

A MW3 update on February 13 added all Snipers to the list of banned weapons in Ranked Play. Previously, players were able to access the XRK Stalker and KATT-AMR, but all Snipers are restricted as of Season 2.

In addition to the list of MW3 weapons above, keep in mind that all MW2 weapons are restricted in Ranked Play despite being available in the latest title.

Modern Warfare 3 Ranked Play restricted attachments
