5 best Black Ops 6 Zombies guns: Class setups

5 best Black Ops 6 Zombies guns: Class setups

Whether you’re gearing up for Terminus or Liberty Falls, here are the top five class setups for Black Ops 6 Zombies.

In classic Call of Duty Zombies games, players started with just a pistol and a knife, needing to buy new weapons off the wall or open the Mystery Box for better gear. Black Ops 6 simplifies this process by allowing players to create a custom loadout with eight attachments before each round.

Players can also spend Essence to enhance weapon damage with increasing rarity at Arsenal Machines or add ammo mods. And, of course, no Zombies experience would be complete without the Pack-a-Punch machine, which boosts damage and magazine capacity while adding special effects.

While all weapons can be upgraded, certain choices really shine above the rest.

5. Marine SP

  • Optic: Kepler Microflex
  • Muzzle: Full Choke
  • Barrel: Combat Barrel
  • Underbarrel: Lightweight Foregrip
  • Stock: Balanced Stock
  • Laser: Steady Aim Laser
  • Fire Mods: Rapid Fire

Shotguns are usually a top choice in Zombies due to their high damage and effectiveness in taking out large groups of enemies. At launch, BO6 features two shotguns, both of which are outstanding options.

When Pack-a-Punched, the Marine SP evolves into the Bakunawa, drawing inspiration from Philippine mythology. This upgraded shotgun eliminates its slow reload time and delivers some of the best damage per second in the game mode.

Our loadout emphasizes enhancing the weapon’s fire rate, hip-fire accuracy, mobility, and control.

4. AS VAL

  • Optic: Kepler Microflex
  • Barrel: Suppressed Reinforced Barrel
  • Underbarrel: Vertical Foregrip
  • Magazine: Extended Mag II
  • Rear Grip: Quickdraw Grip
  • Stock: Balanced Stock
  • Laser: Steady Aim Laser
  • Fire Mods: Recoil Springs

While ARs and SMGs dominate in Multiplayer, they tend to fall short in Zombies due to their lower damage-per-second and smaller magazine sizes. However, the AS VAL stands out as a notable exception, featuring the fastest time-to-kill in BO6.

In later rounds, players will find it easy to cut through enemies with the AS VAL, especially after upgrading it with a Pack-a-Punch. We strongly recommend equipping the Extended Mag II to boost ammo capacity and filling most of the remaining attachment slots with options to reduce recoil.

3. LR 7.62

  • Optic: Kepler Microflex
  • Muzzle: Muzzle Brake
  • Underbarrel: Lightweight Handguard
  • Magazine: Extended Mag II
  • Rear Grip: Quickdraw Grip
  • Stock: Balanced Stock
  • Laser: Sterlok Laser
  • Fire Mods: Rapid Fire

Experienced Zombie players may roll their eyes at this ranking, but Black Ops 6 has a sniper rifle that deserves attention. The base weapon, the LR 7.62, isn’t particularly remarkable due to its slow rechamber speed and limited effectiveness against multiple enemies.

However, when you Pack-a-Punch the LR 7.62, it gains a unique ability that grants explosive ammunition. Rather than functioning as a traditional sniper rifle, the upgraded version effectively fires grenades capable of wiping out entire waves of Zombies.

Our loadout significantly enhances the fire rate, increases ammo capacity, and improves the rifle’s mobility. Buying the PhD Flopper Perk-a-Cola while using this weapon is crucial, as it protects you from splash damage that could otherwise be lethal.

2. GS45

  • Barrel: CHF Barrel
  • Magazine: Extended Mag II
  • Stock: Akimbo GS45
  • Laser: Steady Aim Laser
  • Fire Mods: Rapid Fire

The Mustang & Sally is one of the most legendary weapons in CoD Zombies. In earlier games, the M1911 was often considered the weakest pistol, but when Pack-a-Punched, it transforms into the powerful Mustang & Sally Akimbo pistols, firing grenades instead of standard bullets.

Treyarch reintroduced the Mustang & Sally with the GS45, and it packs just as much punch as fans remember. If you can manage to survive with its mediocre base version and upgrade its rarity, you’ll have access to one of the best weapons in the game. Alternatively, if you’re patient and can save enough cash, you can buy it off the wall at rarity 5 in later rounds, making it a more straightforward option.

1. ASG-89

  • Optic: Kepler Microflex
  • Muzzle: Full Choke
  • Barrel: CHF Barrel
  • Underbarrel: Ranger Foregrip
  • Magazine: Extended Mag II
  • Stock: Light Stock
  • Laser: Steady Aim Laser
  • Fire Mods: Rapid Fire

You won’t find a better weapon in BO6 Zombies than the ASG-89; even some Wonder Weapons can’t compete. This semi-automatic shotgun tears through Zombies with its impressive damage-per-second.

For this loadout, Rapid Fire is essential, as it boosts the shotgun’s rate of fire and increases magazine capacity. The ASG-89 is an ideal choice for solo players, capable of clearing hordes while also delivering substantial damage to single targets. While area-of-effect weapons usually struggle against bosses, this one stands out as a notable exception.
